Orienteering
Team
Orienteering is a competitive land navigation sport that develops the same skills used in the military, using a map and compass to quickly and accurately move across unfamiliar terrain.
Cadets must locate a series of checkpoints, called controls, in the correct order while choosing the most effective route. Success requires discipline, focus, and physical endurance. The cadet who completes the course in the shortest time demonstrates superior navigation and decision-making skills.
